Downtown Parking Survey

In March of 2014, the City Commission adopted a Downtown Plan. In that Plan, and in all of the comments the city gathered during the planning process, it was learned that downtown parking is a concern to visitors to our Downtown. 

A parking committee has been formed to help find solutions to these concerns. One of the largest of those concerns is whether or not the Downtown needs a parking garage. A parking study from Rich & Associates has been commissioned in order to help determine: 
1. How to better manage the parking we currently have.
2. How to find the “tipping point” at which we need a parking garage Downtown.
3. How to locate, fund, construct, and manage that parking garage.
