5th Year Anniversary Bakken Xtrek Scheduled August 17th

Williston, N.D. – The 5th Year Bakken Xtrek, produced and hosted by Williston Parks & Recreation, will be held at Spring Lake Park August 17.
 
The 5K course has 24 crazy, fun, challenging obstacles! FCI Construction is surprising runners with a new design and the Xtrek's other new obstacle, “Dirty Pigs,” will have an exciting twist! Each 5K participant will receive a 5th Year Medal, Bakken Xtrek Tshirt, finishing cup prize, and a meal in the park. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 racers/team in each category.
 
Kids will have a great time running Captain America’s 1 Mile Fun Run! They will conquer 22 obstacles in the Super Hero themed course. Williston Parks couldn’t have made this youth Xtrek course happen without volunteers and sponsors. Each participant will receive a finishing medal and Bakken Xtrek Kids Course Tshirt provided by our sponsors.
 
Participants and spectators are welcome to park in the vacant lot next to the Holiday Gas Station.  They will be transported by bus, ATV, or can walk to the front entrance of Spring Lake Park. Near the park entrance, participants will find onsite registration, the celebration area, and the starting line for our 400+ racers!  Races begin at 10:00 a.m.
